AEFIS 3.0 European Tour
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – March 30, 2010 – The Academic Evaluation, Feedback &
Intervention System–AEFIS travels oversees with its President, Mustafa Sualp, this month to kick off
the AEFIS 3.0 European Tour. Mr. Sualp will conduct multiple presentations during his time in
Europe beginning in Turkey, where Dr. Tuncay Döğeroğlu, Dean of Faculty of Engineering &
Architecture at Anadolu University, will welcome Mr. Sualp. AEFIS will be presented to a large
group of faculty eager to learn more about AEFIS 3.0’s innovative assessment tools. Anadolu
University has “implemented one of the most successful distance education programs in the
world,” currently educating 930 thousand in its three distance education faculties and has
become a model for many institutions.
The AEFIS Team will then visit Istanbul Technical University, whose history stretches over 236 years
“providing technical education within a modern educational environment and strong
academic staff.” ITU has a strong architectural and engineering education reputation in Turkey.”
As AEFIS 3.0 Pilot Program participants, these international partners will ensure innovative
development ideas for AEFIS as the web-based assessment solution.
Also to be introduced over the course of the European Tour is the revolutionary Instructional
Decision Support SystemTM—IDSS. The IDSS implemented throughout the AEFIS Solution Platform
allows faculty to apply real-time student and course information to the continuous improvement
of teaching strategies.
