AEFIS 3.0 Launch Party Remarks by AEFIS President
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – March 30, 2010 –
Speech Delivered by AEFIS President, Mustafa Sualp, at AEFIS 3.0 Launch Party, March 18, 2010
What a beautiful day for a party!
Thank you everyone for coming!
I am here today to acknowledge the support, hard work and contributions of the Drexel academic community which helped us craft this new version of AEFIS and which is why we felt this venue would be most appropriate for our launch party.
In addition to Drexel, we have also incorporated input from many other universities and collaborators, helping us make AEFIS 3.0 a robust solution which we are very proud of.
The vision we have in releasing this product is to offer an easy to use, comprehensive solution platform that will enable departments, colleges and entire universities to strengthen the connection between teaching, learning and assessment.
We want to help improve the quality of higher education and the ability of students to compete effectively in the 21st century, both in the United States and abroad.
Although our successes belong to the efforts and support of many, I would like to ask a few of our advisors and collaborators from the Drexel community here today, to share a few thoughts.
I would like to invite Dr. John DiNardo, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs to say a few words.
I would like to also invite Dr. Adam Fontecchio, Associate Professor and Assistant Department Head for Undergraduate Studies to say a few words.
Thank you for joining our celebration, and please enjoy the party!
